Grab your family, your friends and your relatives with you, and come enjoy a genuine countryside atmosphere! Tainionvirta Sauna Steam 2026 is an Eastern Häme experience journey where each destination brings out local sauna culture, traditions and distinctive life in the landscapes of Tainionvirta.
In the Tainionvirta Sauna Steam 2026 sauna adventure you have the possibility to book sauna sessions after purchasing a sauna pass at a time you want. Please take into account the distances between the saunas you choose when planning your sauna adventure route. The duration of one sauna session is one hour. Sauna passes are available for 1 person and two-person sessions. A one-person sauna pass costs 50 euros (maximum five sessions). A two-person sauna pass includes identical sauna sessions for two persons (maximum five sessions per person) and costs 100 euros. Additional sessions are subject to a fee. Links to the booking pages will be sent after your order together with the confirmation message.
The sauna adventure goes through different kinds of saunas — from a steaming smoke sauna to a modern glass-walled lakeside oasis and to an idyllic, traditional wood sauna. In every sauna location a different sauna experience awaits the adventurers! There are ten sauna destinations in total. The saunas have diverse program and local sauna culture is also visible in other businesses in the area during the weekend.

How do I buy a sauna pass?
Sauna passes are purchased through the Liveto system via the event website.
How many sauna sessions can I book?
Maximum 5 sauna sessions per person.
How long is a sauna session?
One sauna session lasts 60 minutes. You can book two consecutive sessions in the sauna if you want a longer time in that sauna and if there are places available.
Can I visit the saunas alone?
The Tainionvirta Sauna Steam event is a sauna adventure and there will be other sauna bathers in the sauna sessions according to the booking situation. Saunas can be booked for private use outside the event.
Do sauna sessions need to be booked in advance?
Yes, all sauna sessions are booked in advance through the Liveto system.
What should I bring with me?
Swimsuit, towel, seat cover and weather-appropriate equipment. It is also good to bring your own water bottle. We want to be a responsible operator, so we prefer personal sauna equipment.
Is swimming allowed at the saunas?
At many locations there is a possibility to swim – follow the instructions of the location.

Camping Airola Wood Sauna: traditional wood sauna; the scent of the steam water is traditional barley, after the sauna a sahti tasting in our summer restaurant. At the shore the movie “100 Litres of Sahti” was filmed.
