Ohrasaari is located near the church village of Sysmä, on the shore of Majutvesi, which belongs to Lake Päijänne. From Ohrasaari can be found versatile opportunities for exercise and outdoor activities.
In Ohrasaari there are plenty of functions for all kinds of exercise: a 9-basket frisbee golf course, lighted ski tracks, an outdoor gym, a mountain biking route, an orienteering course as well as running stairs in connection with the bird tower. From Ohrasaari can be found an accessible as well as a demanding accessible nature trail. In addition, at the southern end of the island there is a sauna owned by the municipality and a campfire place, in the yard area there is also a toilet for hikers’ use. On the island there is a bird tower and a lighted sledding hill.

In Ohrasaari there is a 2700 m long lighted jogging track, along which there are fitness equipment, and a 1700 m long path circling around the island. This path circling around the island is called the dog path. Dogs are allowed to be taken to Ohrasaari, but dogs must be kept on a leash when moving along the path. In winter dogs can easily be taken onto the ice along the ice path. Note! Walking on the ski tracks is forbidden in winter. Walkers are served by the dog path and the walking route of the ice track.
When ice conditions allow, around the island in winter there is also a 2 km long ice track and a 7.5 km long Majutvesi skiing loop.
